JAYDEN (JEM) MOON
POST-PRODUCTION CREATIVE
From editing playful gameplay clips with friends to crafting thoughtful cinematic narratives, Jem’s journey into film editing has been fuelled by passion from an early age. Her interest deepened during a high school film studies course, which opened her eyes to the art of composition and storytelling through editing. What began as a hobby quickly evolved as she began freelancing for YouTubers, creating trailers for events and game projects, and exploring the narrative potential of visual media.
Now a student in the Film and Video Production program at SAIT, Jem has sharpened her skills in picture editing, with a particular strength in assembly editing. Her standout contributions include editing a well-received trailer for a post-production project and overseeing the assembly and final timeline of Map The University, a multi-episode student series.
Jem approaches every project with meticulous organisation, creative intention and a strong sense of collaboration. She aims to craft compelling stories that are both technically sound and emotionally resonant, ensuring every cut supports the final vision with clarity and impact.
